What Are Viton O-Rings?
Viton is DuPont’s trade name for FKM (Fluoroelastomer). Viton O-rings offer superior resistance to high temperatures up to +200°C, aggressive chemicals including concentrated acids, jet fuels, and chlorinated solvents, and ozone/UV exposure. This makes them the preferred choice for critical sealing in oil & gas, aerospace, marine, and chemical processing.
